Receptionist / Office Administration

- 2 positions: 8:30am – 1:00pm or 12:45pm – 5:00pm, five days a week

The Master Plumbers' and Mechanical Services Association of Australia is a registered national employer organisation providing representation and extensive services for a broad base of members in the plumbing and mechanical services sectors. The principal activities of the Association are to provide business services, industry representation, training and advice on industrial relations and employment to the membership.
We are seeking two Receptionists to share this critical front office role. The primary focus of this position is to deliver an outstanding level of service to people visiting or calling the Association as part of the reception team. It also provides information to members on services and benefits available to them.
As part of a small organisational team focussed on serving the needs of Members, the Receptionists will need to be able to manage competing deadlines whilst maintaining service standards. They will provide administrative support to other sections of the Association and take responsibility for managing a range of office functions.
The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and the demonstrated ability to handle difficult clients on the phone or in person. Self motivated, you will be able to manage the competing deadlines and the confidence to advise what can and can’t be achieved. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential and experience with a membership type database would be advantageous.

The Master Plumbers and Mechanical Services Association – Group Training Scheme is seeking apprentice plumbers that have commenced an apprenticeship and actively looking to gain on the job experience, whilst attending trade school.
We have long standing relationships with reputable Plumbing organisations that are willing to offer both General & Mechanical plumbing placement opportunities to apprentices on both domestic and commercial building sites.
Ultimately, we are seeking dedicated apprentices who have a commitment to completing their apprenticeship. Successful applicants must be up to date with their schooling and have the willingness to learn difference facets of this trade.
